Celene Domitrovich, Ph.D, is the Director of Research at the Georgetown University Thrive Center for Children, Families, and Communities, she is also a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Georgetown University and the Director of Research and Innovation for ECIN. Dr. Domitrovich has over 25 years of experience conducting clinical and implementation research on preventative interventions in early childhood development settings. She has published 65 peer-reviewed journal articles and is one of the three co-editors of the Handbook of Social and Emotional Learning. She recently served as a co-editor of a special issue of Frontiers of Psychology on the topic of implementation of SEL interventions. Dr. Domitrovich is currently the Principal Investigator of a Head Start University Partnership grant funded through the Administration of Children and Families. In some of her most recent publications, Dr. Domitrovich has contributed to the field of social and emotional learning (SEL) by developing preventive interventions and implementation support strategies. She has identified and documented the multilevel factors that predict implementation and identified effective strategies to support the implementation process.
