PARENT CAFÉS

Services We Offer

ECIN impacts systems and policy, through policy research, solution formation, and advocacy. ECIN works closely with partners and government and agency leaders to ensure that law, policy, and financing optimally support young children and their families. ECIN particularly focuses on the following policy issues and goals. They are not in rank order:
Pilot Partnership
The Pilot Partnership is ECIN's front door. It gives a grassroots organization, small nonprofit, or emerging partner a single, fully-hosted Parent Café at minimal financial risk.  For organizations that have never experienced a Parent Café, ECIN removes the guesswork. We bring the hosts, the materials and expertise and you as a partner brings the participants. No internal hosting capacity or planning burden required.
Entry Engagement
Entry engagement is a light-touch partnership designed to support organizations launching early Parent Café engagement with guided planning and implementation support.
Host-Training Model
Host-Training solves a different problem than Entry Engagement: this is designed for the partner that is more experienced with Parent Cafes and is learning to run the machinery around hosting (logistics, recruitment, site readiness) so future Parent Cafés run smoothly.

This is a focused partnership supporting organizations in preparing to successfully host and coordinate Parent Cafés through planning, logistics, and implementation readiness support.
Foundations Partnership Engagement
Foundations sits at the midpoint of the portfolio: partners get ECIN-led hosted Parent Cafes for immediate impact while simultaneously building the internal systems needed for long-term, sustainable family engagement.

ECIN delivers Parent Cafés directly while coaching the partner's team on the systems scheduling, participant tracking, facilitation practice that make family engagement sustainable rather than episodic.
Parent Cafe Direct
This is high-impact engagement designed to provide partners and families with a Parent Cafe centered on economic mobility. Families get a peer-led Parent Café experience built around five evidence-based protective factors with zero facilitation burden on the partner's staff.
Comprehensive Partnership Engagement
This is a full ecosystem-activation model combining hosting, certification, coalition-building, and communications support behind a single, cross-sector initiative.  A dedicated four-person ECIN team partners directly with the organization's leadership to activate community engagement, certify internal hosts, and build the coalition and communications infrastructure needed for lasting, community-led impact.
